The Lord blessed the Davenport Pilgrim Nazarene Church with a wonderful, old church building. It has a lot of history and is in a great location.

However, there was some cosmetic work that needed done. A vote was taken by the church board this Spring to begin the remodeling process. The money was pledged and work began in May.

We started with some much needed work in the sanctuary. While that was taking place, we worshiped a large room in the basement.

On Dec 16th, just in time for the Christmas program, we were able to move back upstairs. All of us were thrilled to be back in the sanctuary. While we all love one another, things were a little tight downstairs and we were ready for a little more space.

The remodeling will go on over the next few months as we continue to improve the cosmetic of the church. All of us are very grateful to the families that put in so much hard work to get us to where we are today. There will be more pictures and news to come.
